Devonport Services from Plymouth were the visitors to Exmouth, with the young Cockles running out winners 34-10. After 5 minutes Jake James Graham scored the first of his two tries. When Graham went over for his brace, George Mears converted taking the score to 12-0. Joe Harris tanked over from a set piece move increasing the lead to 17-0. Devonport then put Exmouth under pressure and were awarded a penalty kick after an Exmouth infringement. This was missed but Services turned the screws and scored next, 17-5 at half time. Just after the restart Jamie Davies dotted down for a try to make it 22-5 however Devonport bounced back with their second score, 22-10. Moving in to the final ten minutes George Mears touched down and converted his own try, 29-10 then Liam Hilliar bundled over to make the final score. A mention must go to Devonport Services who travelled up at short notice and ensured a good competitive game.
