There has been a significant increase in the number of vehicles which park in the EXMOUTH RUGBY CLUB car park. A Member Benefit of being part of Exmouth Rugby Football Club, car parking at our club is included in your current annual membership. Genuine users of our club house facilities, including all who hire our venue have approved access. With this in mind the Board of Directors decided to ensure we protect our members right to park and introduce a parking system, managed by an industry approved external company; SMART PARKING.

The system will be a combination of ANPR Camera; on-site temporary parking registration equipment; a car parking card payment system and use of the Ringo Parking App for those not registered as permit holders at the club. Any revenue gained from car parking will be used to fund our rugby club activities.

All vehicles not adhering to the car park use requirements will be monitored by SMART PARKING, who will impose and collect the appropriate penalty charges in accordance with displayed parking regulations. This is managed by SMART PARKING, not Exmouth RFC.

Providing your vehicle registration numbers, linked to your current club membership are up to date, you do not need to do anything else, you can park freely in the designated areas. The ANPR system will recognise you going in and out. Any guests and bona fide users of our club house when open, are required to enter their car registration number at a tablet registration point inside the club house (similar to hotels etc). Used correctly, genuine users will be registered for the period they are on site. For anyone else PAYMENT MUST be made via the Ringo App, or card meter, as appropriate.

The signage and camera were installed in late October, this allowed users to get familiar with the new system. Also give fair and proper notice to all users of our rugby club. In addition, we are taking the opportunity to make some changes to the current layout and removing some fencing to create more open space. Saturday & Sunday parking will have to be marshalled by our volunteers to ensure correct parking alignment. The areas in front of the club house will become a Drop Off Only zone, with limited 15 minute time period. Please adhere to the DROP OFF ZONE signage when installed.
