Exmouth Rugby U13’s controlled their Devon Cup win over Plymstock. A strong performance from all players showed reward for the hard work in training. Exmouth forwards showed much improved teamwork to drive Plymstock backwards giving a great platform for tricky backs to run great lines of attack. Both forwards and backs showed confident handling and passing skills hinting at some exciting potential for this season. Exmouth took the lead after 5 minutes and never looked back.
Tries came from Jake Gilbody, Jevon Burns (2), Mark Godfrey and Harry Parkin who also slotted 2 conversions. The final score 29-0 to Exmouth. Every member of Exmouth Rugby U13’s squad contributed to entertaining and exciting rugby with the game swinging end to end. The travelling supporters saw sharp tackling, incisive running and great team play giving the squad the win they deserved.
