Tiverton 5 - 62 Exmouth

This week Exmouth Colts travelled to Tiverton in their sixth Devon Merit table game. They came away with a ten try victory, with Ben Waistell and James Bartholomew crossing the line three times with good line breaking powering through.

Other tries were picked up from Adam Morris who went over twice, Joe Parkin and Ian Perkins. Lloyd Murrin and Shaun Fayter picked up a collection of points between them, converting six of the tries scored to add the extras. Although the score did not reflect the way Tiverton played, at times they showed great pride and determination in their game plan. This led to a good try set up from a lineout move in the first half.

Exmouth again showed their vast strength in depth with players experimenting in different positions in this merit game. All credit to Tiverton for not giving up throughout the game and playing with a well commended team spirit. Exmouth continue their winning streak in the league with this making it the sixth consecutive merit table win.
