Tiverton 0 - 97 Exmouth
On Saturday the Exmouth RFC Quins squad travelled to Tiverton for a friendly. With this in mind the squad selected contained six of the current Exmouth colts side to give them a taster of senior Rugby as their colts game had been cancelled and what a taster it was! Exmouth came away emphatic winners ninety seven points to nil.
As you would expect with such a score line the Quins dominated the game from start to finish, the only down side to the game as far as Exmouth were concerned was the loss of Shane Cooper at prop to a neck injury after only five minutes of the game played, this meant the remainder of the game was played with uncontested scrum as the Quins had no prop replacement.
In total there were fifteen tries scored three for Chris Strong, two each for Andy Powell and Dan McLeod, with Alex Hole, Paul Flower, Ty Tuckett, Seb Phelps, Ant Tribble, Jordan Kelly, Andy Caddywould and Tom Parry all scoring one apiece with Andy Powell converting eleven conversions.
