Exmouth 19 - 0 Tiverton

On Saturday saw Exmouth RFC Quins continue their league campaign when they took on Tiverton Second Team.
The first half saw two well matched teams playing some good open running rugby, both sides had their opportunities to score, but for some stout defending from both Exmouth and Tiverton, neither side could cross the other sides try line. The half time score was nil nil.
 
The second half saw an early brake through in the stalemate, when with in three minutes of the restart  Exmouth's captain Tony Emmins went over the Tiverton try line to score under the posts the try was converted by Jack Van-Coller seven nil to Exmouth. As the game progressed Exmouth began to apply more and more pressure on the Tiverton defence, so much so that ten minutes after the first try Exmouth scored their second try, when scrum half Neil Hooper went over to score, the kick was missed which put the score at twelve points to nil in Exmouth's favour. The game continue with Exmouth continually attacking but failing to score, up until the last couple of minutes remaining on the clock when skipper Tony Emmins went over for his second  try and Exmouth's third, this time the kick was converted by Ed Kirk which put the final score at nineteen, nil to Exmouth.
